Bible Verses About Baptism

Baptism is a ceremony built by the Lord Jesus for the churches. It symbolizes that we admit our faith in public and formally return to the Lord Jesus, and that our sins are forgiven. However, will baptism make our sins clean? What’s the real meaning of baptism? Can we be reborn to be a new person as long as we are baptized? 1 Corinthians 12:13

For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

1 Peter 3:21

The like figure whereunto even baptism does also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

Matthew 3:11-17

I indeed baptize you with water to repentance. but he that comes after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear. he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.
